Creating The Dream Dress For My Sister Vanessa

I’ve waited my whole life for this day, and it couldn’t have been more magical! 

It was no question that I would be the one to make my sisters wedding dress. Not because she wanted me to, but I gave her no choice!

I always envisioned my sister in a beautifully glittering dress, and being the easy going bride that she was she let me have as much creative freedom as I wanted.

Vanessa and Naveen’s wedding was a very non-traditional Indian/Italian celebration where we honoured both cultures.

For Vanessa’s wedding dress I chose to use blush pink silk charmeuse with glittered tulle and a custom hand beaded overlay. I added a dusty rose double faced velvet ribbon to tie at the waist.
