Feb 17 Bridal Designer: Paloma Blanca & Mikaella Bridal

It’s a crazy feeling knowing that so early on in my career, thousands of women were saying “I do” in dresses I sketched up.

The semester before graduating with a bachelor in Fashion Design at Ryerson University I started designing bridal gowns for a bridal company in Toronto that had two sister brands, Paloma Blanca & Mikaella Bridal.

Working in the design studio I was able to see my bridal gown designs & accessories from sketch through to production for both collections. I was able to work with pattern makers, highly skilled seamstresses, fabric suppliers and the production team to achieve my vision in each design.

One of the first gowns I introduced to the collection became Mikaella bridal’s best seller for several consecutive seasons. Some of the dresses I had the privilege to design also appeared on the cover of Wedding Bells Magazine and in magazine editorials.
